24Then they burned the city and everything in it with fire. However, they put the silver, gold, bronze, and iron items into the treasury of the LORD's house.
27At sunset, Joshua ordered them to be taken down from the trees and thrown into the cave where they had hidden. Large stones were placed over the opening of the cave, which remain there to this day.
