7The LORD said to Joshua, 'Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so that they may know that just as I was with Moses, I will be with you.'
1When all the people had finished crossing the Jordan, the LORD said to Joshua,
9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people:
11“Go through the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for in three days you will cross the Jordan to take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you to inherit.’”
12To the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said:
13“Remember the command that Moses, the servant of the LORD, gave you when he said: ‘The LORD your God will give you rest and will give you this land.’
9Joshua said to the Israelites, 'Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God.'
3and command them, saying, ‘Take twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from the spot where the priests’ feet stand firm, carry them with you, and set them down at the place where you will spend the night.’”
5and he said to them, “Cross ahead of the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take a stone on his shoulder, one for each of the tribes of the Israelites.
22You are to let your children know: 'Israel crossed the Jordan here on dry ground.'
23For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed, just as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea when He dried it up before us until we had crossed over.
6So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and said to them, 'Take up the Ark of the Covenant, and have seven priests carry seven trumpets before it.'
7And he commanded the people, 'Advance and march around the city, with the armed men going ahead of the ark of the LORD.'
8After Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the LORD went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD followed them.

31For you are about to cross the Jordan to enter and possess the land the LORD your God is giving you. You will take possession of it and live in it.
21At that time, I also commanded Joshua, saying, 'Your own eyes have seen everything the LORD your God has done to these two kings. The LORD will do the same to all the kingdoms where you are crossing over.'
2“Moses My servant is dead. Now, therefore, arise, cross over this Jordan—you and all the people—into the land that I am giving to them, to the children of Israel.
23Then the LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.'
