  • 10But if it does evil in My sight by not listening to My voice, then I will relent concerning the good I had promised to bless it with.

  • 29You warned them to return to Your law, but they acted arrogantly and did not obey Your commandments. They sinned against Your judgments, which, if a person does, they will live by them. Stubbornly, they turned their backs, stiffened their necks, and would not listen.

  • 1My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments.

  • 19But even Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God. They followed the practices of Israel as the Israelites had done.

  • 18If after all this you still do not listen to me, I will punish you seven times over for your sins.

  • 5You must keep my decrees and my laws, because the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the LORD.

  • 7I will establish his kingdom forever if he is resolute in keeping My commandments and ordinances, as he is doing today.’

  • 8I will keep Your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.

  • 11Then you are to answer them: 'It is because your ancestors abandoned Me,' declares the LORD, 'and followed other gods, served them, and worshiped them. But they abandoned Me and did not keep My law.

  • 13But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not follow my statutes and rejected my ordinances—though by them a person will live if they do them—and they greatly profaned my Sabbaths. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness to destroy them.

  • 45so that they might keep His statutes and observe His laws. Praise the LORD!

  • 4This is what the LORD says: 'For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of the LORD and have not kept His statutes. Their lies have led them astray, lies after which their ancestors walked.'
