    10We have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God by following His instructions, which He gave us through His servants the prophets.

    11All Israel has transgressed Your law and turned away, refusing to obey Your voice. So the curse and oath written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us because we have sinned against Him.

    34Our kings, leaders, priests, and ancestors did not obey Your law or pay attention to Your commandments and warnings You gave them.

    35Even while they were in their kingdom, enjoying Your abundant goodness and the spacious, fertile land You gave them, they did not serve You or turn from their evil deeds.

  • 13So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their hearts to follow their own counsels.

  • 9These are a rebellious people, deceitful children, unwilling to listen to the LORD's instruction.

  • 26But they were disobedient and rebelled against You. They cast Your law behind their backs and killed Your prophets who warned them to turn back to You. They committed terrible blasphemies.

  • 33They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces. Though I taught them persistently, they refused to listen or accept correction.

  • 8Therefore, this is what the LORD of Hosts says: 'Because you have not listened to my words—

  • 17Yet they did not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves by worshiping other gods. They turned quickly from the way their ancestors had walked in obedience to the LORD’s commandments. They did not do as their ancestors had done.

  • 16This is what the Lord says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'

  • 6For our ancestors were unfaithful and did what was evil in the sight of the LORD our God. They abandoned Him, turned their backs on His dwelling place, and walked away.

  • 17Therefore, this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: 'Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster I have spoken against them because I spoke to them, but they did not listen; I called to them, but they did not answer.'
