15They despised His statutes, His covenant that He made with their fathers, and His warnings He gave them. They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves. They imitated the nations around them, though the Lord had commanded them not to do so.
7Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have corrupted themselves."
8They have turned aside quickly from the way I commanded them. They have made for themselves a molten calf, bowed down to it, sacrificed to it, and said, 'These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.'
28Otherwise, the land from which you brought us out will say, "The LORD was not able to bring them into the land he promised them, and because he hated them, he brought them out to kill them in the wilderness."
17Have you not brought this upon yourself by forsaking the LORD your God when he led you in the way?
16The LORD said to Moses, 'Behold, you are going to rest with your ancestors, and this people will rise up and prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them.'
17On that day, my anger will burn against them, and I will abandon them and hide my face from them, and they will be consumed. Many disasters and calamities will come upon them, and on that day they will say, 'Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is not with us?'
15If you turn away from following Him, He will abandon them again in the wilderness, and you will bring destruction on all these people."

8You provoke me to anger with the works of your hands by burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you have come to live, so as to destroy yourselves and make yourselves a curse and a disgrace among all the nations of the earth.
8But they rebelled against me and would not listen to me; none of them got rid of the detestable things their eyes were set on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt. So I said I would pour out my wrath on them and unleash my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

12This happened because they did not obey the voice of the LORD their God but violated His covenant—all that Moses, the servant of the LORD, had commanded. They neither listened nor carried it out.
16If you violate the covenant of the LORD your God, which He commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them, the anger of the LORD will burn against you, and you will quickly perish from the good land He has given you.
7But they, like Adam, have transgressed the covenant; there they dealt treacherously with Me.
3Say to them, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Cursed is the one who does not listen to the words of this covenant.
24because they did not carry out my ordinances but rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths, and their eyes were fixed on their fathers' idols.
20But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,' declares the LORD.
7How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken Me and sworn by false gods. I satisfied them, but they committed adultery and gathered at the houses of prostitutes.
17‘Because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, provoking Me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore, My wrath is kindled against this place, and it will not be quenched.’
8Just as they have done to me from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day—forsaking me and serving other gods—so they are also doing to you.
7Do not be like your ancestors and your brothers, who were unfaithful to the LORD, the God of their ancestors, so that He made them an object of horror, as you can see.
19But if you turn away and forsake the statutes and commandments I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,
10This is what the LORD says about this people: They love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the LORD does not accept them; now He will remember their guilt and punish their sins.
