6 So my fury and my anger poured out and burned in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, making them a desolate ruin, as they are today.

31 So I have poured out my indignation upon them, consumed them with the fire of my wrath, and brought their own ways down upon their heads, declares the Sovereign LORD.

13 The houses in Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will become defiled like this place, Topheth—all the houses where they burned incense on their roofs to all the starry hosts and poured out drink offerings to other gods.
15 Yet My people have forgotten Me; they burn incense to worthless idols. They have stumbled in their ways, on ancient paths, and have strayed onto byways, roads not built up.
20 then I will uproot you from My land that I have given you, and I will reject this temple I have consecrated for My name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples.
10 For I have set my face against this city for disaster and not for good, declares the LORD. It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, who will burn it with fire.
37 For they have committed adultery and blood is on their hands. They committed adultery with their idols; they even sacrificed their children, whom they bore to me, passing them through the fire as food for their idols.
30 For the people of Judah have done evil in my sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my name to defile it.
9 And the people will answer, 'Because they abandoned the LORD their God, who brought their ancestors out of Egypt, and they embraced other gods, worshiped them, and served them. That is why the LORD brought all this disaster on them.'
13 Go and inquire of the LORD for me, for the people, and for all of Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the LORD’s wrath that is kindled against us because our ancestors did not obey the words of this book by doing everything written concerning us.
35 They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Hinnom’s Son to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech, something I never commanded nor even considered in My heart. They committed this detestable act to make Judah sin.
18 So I poured out my wrath on them because of the blood they had shed on the land and because they had defiled it with their idols.
14 Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many cities. But I will send fire on their cities, and it will devour their strongholds.
