5This is evidence of God's righteous judgment, so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
16They forbid us to speak to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way, they constantly fill up the measure of their sins. But the wrath of God has come upon them fully.
22It hurls itself against him without mercy; he flees desperately from its power.
5Then He speaks to them in His anger and terrifies them in His wrath:
6And we are ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
20For human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
4For if God did not spare the angels who sinned but cast them into hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment,
9Woe to those who strive with their Maker, like a piece of pottery among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?
7But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
31So I have poured out my indignation upon them, consumed them with the fire of my wrath, and brought their own ways down upon their heads, declares the Sovereign LORD.
19A person with great anger must bear the penalty; if you rescue them, you will have to do it again.
12God is a righteous judge and a God who is angry every day.
9Who knows? God may turn and relent and withdraw His fierce anger, so that we will not perish.”

11Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand,
9Like a slug that melts away as it moves, like a stillborn child who never sees the sun.
31This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Remove the turban and take off the crown. Things will not remain as they are. Exalt the lowly and bring down the exalted.
5He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will,
22As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted in it, and you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out my wrath upon you.
