6 “Can I not do with you, O house of Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Behold, like clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.
8 Do not be exceedingly angry, LORD, and do not remember our sins forever. Behold us, we are all your people.
16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows the coals in the fire and produces a weapon fit for its purpose; and I have also created the destroyer to ruin.
