4who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
5He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
23And what if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of mercy, whom he prepared beforehand for glory—
2chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient and sprinkled with the blood of Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in His great mercy has caused us to be born again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
14who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession, to the praise of His glory.
13But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits for salvation through the sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth.
9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
13They were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
4Brothers and sisters dearly loved by God, we know that He has chosen you.
30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
19For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
7so that, being justified by His grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1See how great a love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and this is what we are! The world does not know us because it did not know Him.
24And all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
13For it is God who works in you, both to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.
3His divine power has granted us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
1Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
