11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

21 Therefore, rid yourselves of all moral filth and the excess of evil, and humbly accept the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

9 What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we have already charged that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.
