This is what the LORD of Hosts says: Old men and women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each holding a staff in hand because of old age.

3This is what the LORD says: I have returned to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.
11And people will live in it, and there will no longer be any curse of destruction. Jerusalem will dwell in security.
16'Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I have returned to Jerusalem with compassion; my house will be rebuilt, declares the Lord of Hosts, and a measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem.'
17Proclaim again: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: 'My cities will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.'
4I asked, 'What are these coming to do?' And he answered, 'These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could lift his head. But these craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down the horns of the nations who lifted their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.'
11But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the LORD of Hosts.
23This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Once again they will say this in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes: 'May the LORD bless you, O dwelling of righteousness, O holy mountain.'
24People will live together in Judah and all its cities—farmers and those who move with the herds.
4Each person will sit under their own vine and their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken.
12This is what the Lord Almighty says: In this desolate place, without people or animals, and in all its towns, there will again be pastures for shepherds to rest their flocks.
15so now I have purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and the house of Judah. Do not be afraid.
1Behold, a day is coming for the Lord, when your plunder will be divided in your midst.
2For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle, and the city will be captured, the houses will be plundered, and the women violated. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.
4You shall say to them, ‘This is what the LORD says: Do people fall and not get up? If they turn away, do they not return?’
8On that day, the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. The weakest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them.
10This is what the Lord says: You say of this place, 'It is desolate, without people or animals,' in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, without people, inhabitants, or animals.

3Those who are left in Zion and remain in Jerusalem will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem.

4They will rebuild the ancient ruins, restore the places long devastated, and renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
26Therefore, her young men will fall in her streets, and all the warriors will be silenced on that day, declares the LORD of Hosts.
25then kings and princes who sit on David’s throne will come through the gates of this city, riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by their officials and the people of Judah and Jerusalem. And this city will be inhabited forever.

4For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says about the houses of this city and the houses of the kings of Judah that have been torn down to defend against the siege ramps and the sword:
2Many nations will come and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD and to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths.’ For the law will go out from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
8Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
10The elders of the daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence. They have thrown dust on their heads and dressed themselves in sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground in despair.
13On that day, a great panic from the Lord will come upon them. Each will seize the hand of his neighbor, and they will attack one another.
21Yes, this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says about the articles that remain in the house of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:
21Young and old lie together in the dust of the streets; my young women and young men have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of your anger; you have slaughtered them without pity.
18The word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying:
