12 Go, proclaim these words toward the north: 'Return, faithless Israel,' declares the LORD. 'I will not look on you with anger, for I am faithful,' declares the LORD, 'and I will not be angry forever.
9 I will raise weeping and wailing for the mountains and a dirge for the pastures in the wilderness, because they are burned up and desolate; no one passes through, and cattle cannot be heard anymore—birds of the sky and animals alike have fled and are gone.
11 But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as I did in the past, declares the LORD of Hosts.
8 For this, put on sackcloth, lament and wail, for the fierce anger of the LORD has not turned away from us.

8 People staggered from city to city for water but were not satisfied, yet you did not return to Me,' declares the LORD.
7 Perhaps they will bring their plea before the LORD, and each one will turn from his wicked way, for great are the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people.

22 Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your waywardness. 'Here we are,' they reply, 'for you are the LORD our God.'
16 This is what the Lord says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'
8 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
27 When you speak all these words to them, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer you.
28 So you shall say to them, 'This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the LORD their God or accept discipline; truth has perished and is cut off from their lips.'
14 Return, faithless children,' declares the LORD, 'for I am your master. I will take you—one from a city and two from a family—and bring you to Zion.
34 By the way he came, he will return; he will not enter this city, declares the LORD.
4 This is what the LORD says: 'For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of the LORD and have not kept His statutes. Their lies have led them astray, lies after which their ancestors walked.'
