18 Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
19 Your own wickedness will discipline you; your backslidings will rebuke you. Consider and see how evil and bitter it is for you to forsake the LORD your God and to have no fear of me,” declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.
17 You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you ask, 'How have we wearied Him?' By saying, 'Everyone who does evil is good in the eyes of the Lord, and He delights in them,' or 'Where is the God of justice?'
31 You people of this generation, consider the word of the LORD: ‘Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of deep darkness? Why do my people say, “We are free to roam; we will come to you no more”?’
21 A voice is heard on the barren heights: the weeping and pleading of the people of Israel, because they have perverted their ways and have forgotten the LORD their God.
2 They will spread them out before the sun, the moon, and all the host of heaven, which they loved, served, followed, sought, and worshiped. They will not be gathered or buried but will be like dung on the surface of the ground.
12 The LORD will drive the people far away, and the abandonment in the land will be great.
6 Some have departed from these and turned aside to meaningless talk.
6 Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent and turn away from your idols and turn your faces away from all your detestable practices.'
8 But you have turned aside from the way, and by your teaching have caused many to stumble. You have violated the covenant with Levi, says the Lord of Hosts.
18 All this has come upon us, yet we have not forgotten You, nor have we been false to Your covenant.
35 Even while they were in their kingdom, enjoying Your abundant goodness and the spacious, fertile land You gave them, they did not serve You or turn from their evil deeds.
24 But they did not listen or incline their ear; instead, they walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil hearts. They went backward, not forward.
