    27All the officials did come to Jeremiah and questioned him, and he told them everything the king had ordered him to say. So they said no more to him, for no one had heard the conversation.

  • 16'Go and say to Ebed-Melech the Cushite, This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring my words against this city for disaster and not for good, and they will happen before your eyes on that day.

  • 3And you will not escape from his hand, for you will surely be captured and handed over to him. Your eyes will see the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he will speak directly to you. You will go to Babylon.

  • 15This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to bring upon this city and all its surrounding towns all the disaster I pronounced against them, because they have stiffened their necks and refused to listen to My words.
