Jeremiah 38:1
Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malchiah heard the words Jeremiah was speaking to all the people:

1The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD when King Zedekiah sent Pashhur son of Malkijah and Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest to him, saying,
2This is what the LORD says: Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine, or plague. But whoever goes out to the Chaldeans will live; they will escape with their life and survive.
1When Pashhur, the son of Immer, the priest and officer in charge at the temple of the LORD, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things,
2Neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land listened to the words of the LORD, which He spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.
3King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to the prophet Jeremiah with this message: "Please pray to the LORD our God for us."
4Now Jeremiah was free to come and go among the people, for he had not yet been put into prison.
7And the priests, the prophets, and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
8And when Jeremiah finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests, the prophets, and all the people seized him, saying, 'You shall surely die!'
9'Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, “This house will become like Shiloh, and this city will be desolate, without inhabitants”?' And all the people crowded around Jeremiah in the LORD's house.
6So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah and stayed with him among the people who were left in the land.
7When all the army commanders who were in the countryside, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam over the land and had put him in charge of the men, women, children, and the poor of the land who had not been exiled to Babylon,
8they and their men came to Gedaliah at Mizpah: Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth, the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah son of the Maacathite.

27All the officials did come to Jeremiah and questioned him, and he told them everything the king had ordered him to say. So they said no more to him, for no one had heard the conversation.
12But Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people, 'The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the words you have heard.'
1When Jeremiah finished speaking to all the people all the words of the LORD their God, which the LORD their God had sent him to say to them, this is what happened.

8Ebed-Melech went out of the palace and said to the king,
7Nevertheless, listen now to this word I am speaking in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
6Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah, king of Judah, in Jerusalem.
1The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord when Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and all his army, along with all the kingdoms under his dominion and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and all of its cities, saying:
14They sent and brought Jeremiah from the courtyard of the guard and handed him over to Gedaliah, son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, to take him home. So he stayed among the people.
14So all the officials sent Jehudi son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, to Baruch, saying, "Bring the scroll from which you have read aloud to the people, and come." So Baruch son of Neriah took the scroll in his hand and went to them.
1Then all the military leaders, Johanan son of Kareah, Jezaniah son of Hoshaiah, and all the people, from the least to the greatest, approached.
29Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the hearing of Jeremiah the prophet.
30Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying:
23When all the commanders of the armies and their men heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah as governor, they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah—Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johanan son of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah son of the Maacathite—and they and their men.
13But when he reached the Benjamin Gate, a captain of the guard named Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah, was there. He arrested Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "You are deserting to the Chaldeans!"
11When all the Jews in Moab, Ammon, Edom, and all the other lands heard that the king of Babylon had allowed a remnant to remain in Judah and had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan as governor over them,
13Then Johanan son of Kareah and all the commanders of the forces in the countryside came to Gedaliah at Mizpah.
24Then Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, "Do not let anyone know about these matters, or you may die.
25If the officials hear that I talked with you and come to you, saying, ‘Tell us what you said to the king and what the king said to you; do not hide it from us, or we will put you to death,’
2The words Jeremiah the prophet spoke concerning all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
3The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him, "The LORD has not called your name Pashhur, but rather Terror on Every Side.
1In the fourth year of Jehoiakim, son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying:
17Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "This is what the LORD God Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘If you surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, your life will be spared and this city will not be burned down; you and your family will live.
6the men, women, children, the king’s daughters, and all the people Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, had left with Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, along with Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch son of Neriah.
4So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on the scroll from Jeremiah’s dictation all the words that the LORD had spoken to him.
8Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet commanded him. He read from the scroll the words of the LORD in the house of the LORD.
3Rather, Baruch son of Neriah is inciting you against us to hand us over to the Chaldeans, to be killed or deported to Babylon.
3But Jeremiah said to them, "This is what you shall say to Zedekiah:
8So he summoned Johanan son of Kareah, all the military leaders with him, and all the people from the least to the greatest.
1The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD after Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, had released him at Ramah. He was bound in chains among the captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were being taken to Babylon.
2The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him, 'The LORD your God foretold this calamity against this place.'
34Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, and Jeremiah.
17Then King Zedekiah sent for him and secretly questioned him in his palace, saying, "Is there any word from the LORD?" Jeremiah replied, "There is. You will be handed over to the king of Babylon."
2Listen to the words of this covenant, and speak them to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
1These are the words of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the remaining elders of the exile, the priests, the prophets, and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
8The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people in Jerusalem to proclaim liberty to them:
26Instead, the king commanded Jerahmeel, a royal prince, Seraiah son of Azriel, and Shelemiah son of Abdeel to arrest Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet. But the LORD had hidden them.
