17 Therefore, this is what the Lord says: 'Your wife will become a prostitute in the city, your sons and daughters will fall by the sword, your land will be divided up with a measuring line, and you yourself will die in a polluted land. Israel will surely go into exile away from their homeland.'

9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.'
17 For I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion; no one cares for her.'
9 If you return to the LORD, your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by those who took them captive, and they will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
6 I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them, and it will be as though I had never rejected them. For I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.
5 Why then has this people, Jerusalem, turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold tightly to deceit; they refuse to return.

5 So that I may seize the house of Israel by their hearts, because they have all turned away from me through their idols.
