  • 15 I will return to my place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face; in their distress they will earnestly seek me.

  • 16 Therefore, this is what the Lord, the God of Hosts, the Lord says: There will be wailing in all the open squares, and in all the streets they will say, 'Woe, woe!' They will summon the farmer to mourning and professional mourners to lamentation.

  • 17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the portico and the altar. Let them say, 'Spare your people, LORD. Do not make your heritage an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, “Where is their God?”'

  • 12 He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the outcasts of Israel. He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

  • 1 At that time, declares the LORD, they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves.
