15Though you, Israel, play the harlot, let not Judah become guilty. Do not go to Gilgal, do not go up to Beth Aven, and do not swear, 'As surely as the LORD lives!'
7So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when they will no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of Egypt.’
8Instead, they will say, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought and led the descendants of the house of Israel out of the land of the north and from all the lands where He had banished them.’ Then they will dwell in their own land.
3This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.'
4But in their trouble, they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, sought Him, and He was found by them.
19When they say to you, 'Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,' shouldn’t a people consult their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?
12Therefore, this is what I will do to you, Israel, and because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel.
4Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His presence continually.
14Therefore, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it will no longer be said, 'As surely as the LORD lives who brought the Israelites up out of the land of Egypt.'
15Instead, they will say, 'As surely as the LORD lives who brought the Israelites up from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had scattered them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave to their ancestors.
6With their flocks and herds they will go to seek the Lord, but they will not find him; he has withdrawn from them.
4Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: 'This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.' But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.
5This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: 'Behold, I am going to bring breath into you, and you will come to life.'
12They will wander from sea to sea and from north to east; they will roam about seeking the word of the Lord, but they will not find it.
5They said, 'Turn now, each of you, from your evil way and from your evil actions. Dwell in the land that the LORD gave to you and your ancestors forever and ever.
11Then the house of Israel will no longer stray from me or defile themselves with all their transgressions. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.
17For I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because they have called you an outcast, saying, 'This is Zion; no one cares for her.'
5Now, this is what the LORD of Hosts says: Consider carefully your ways.
14I will put My Spirit in you, and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.
3Incline your ear and come to me; listen, so that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
22Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your waywardness. 'Here we are,' they reply, 'for you are the LORD our God.'
7Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
16This is what the Lord says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.'
2And if they ask you, 'Where should we go?' tell them, 'This is what the LORD says: Those destined for death, to death; those for the sword, to the sword; those for famine, to famine; and those for captivity, to captivity.'
5House of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
