26If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and commits sin, they will die for it; because of the sin they have committed, they will die.
27But if a wicked person turns away from the wickedness they have committed and does what is just and right, they will save their life.
28Because they consider all the offenses they have committed and turn away from them, they will surely live; they will not die.
29Yet the house of Israel says, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Are my ways unjust, house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?
30Therefore, house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
10Son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what you are saying: Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?'
11Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from their ways and live. Turn back! Turn back from your evil ways! Why should you die, house of Israel?'
25I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
27I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances.

19I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh.
