    12 This is what the LORD says: Your wound is incurable; your injury is beyond healing.

    13 There is no one to plead your cause, no remedy for your wound, no healing for you.

    14 All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you. I have struck you as an enemy would, with cruel punishment, because of the greatness of your guilt and the many sins you have committed.

    15 Why do you cry out over your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because of your great guilt and many sins, I have done these things to you.

    6 Therefore, a lion from the forest will attack them, a wolf from the wilderness will ravage them, and a leopard is watching their cities. Anyone who goes out will be torn apart, because their transgressions are many and their backslidings are numerous.

    7 How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken Me and sworn by false gods. I satisfied them, but they committed adultery and gathered at the houses of prostitutes.

  • 12 And you have behaved even more wickedly than your ancestors, each one following the stubbornness of their own evil heart instead of listening to Me.

  • 13 So the LORD will cut off from Israel both head and tail, both palm branch and reed in a single day.

  • 31 You people of this generation, consider the word of the LORD: ‘Have I been a wilderness to Israel or a land of deep darkness? Why do my people say, “We are free to roam; we will come to you no more”?’
