18Here I am, along with the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord of Hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.

14The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.
10They say to the seers, 'See no more visions!' and to the prophets, 'Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions.'
11For this is what the Lord said to me with a strong hand, warning me not to follow the way of this people:
12"Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not be terrified.
14Seek good and not evil so that you may live, and so the Lord, the God of Hosts, will be with you, just as you have said.

20Declare this to the house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah, saying:
22Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.
21and the inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD and seek the LORD of Hosts. I myself am going.’
22And many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD.
7No one will break bread for the bereaved to comfort them for the dead. Nor will anyone offer them a cup of consolation for their father or mother.
