  • 1And you, son of man, take a sharp sword, use it like a razor for barbers, and pass it over your head and your beard. Then take scales to weigh and divide the hair.

  • 14The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so.

  • 21You shall not plant for yourself an Asherah pole of any tree beside the altar of the Lord your God that you will set up for yourself.

  • 25Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

  • 18Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds. Tie them as reminders on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
