10And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
11And God said to him, Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern judgment;
12Behold, I have done according to your words: lo, I have given you a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like you before you, nor shall any arise like unto you.
13And I have also given you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto you all your days.
5In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said, Ask what I shall give you.

18O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and prepare their heart towards You:
19And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies, and Your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.
23All the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
28And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had made; and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do judgment.
7Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom."
8Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you to set you on His throne as king for the LORD your God! Because your God loved Israel to establish them forever, He made you king over them to execute justice and righteousness.
24And all the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
8Happy are your men, happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and hear your wisdom.
9Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you, to set you on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel forever, therefore he made you king, to do justice and righteousness.
9And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and a willing mind: for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.
19O LORD, for your servant's sake, and according to your own heart, have you done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
125I am Your servant; give me understanding, that I may know Your testimonies.
20And you, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon you, that you should tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.

19Have respect therefore to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and the prayer which your servant prays before you:
6And King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel do you give me to return an answer to this people?
2So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;
16For the king will hear, to deliver his maidservant from the hand of the man who would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
66Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe Your commandments.
