15And Nathan departed to his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and it became very sick.

22And, lo, while she yet talked with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in.
23And they told the king, saying, Behold Nathan the prophet. And when he came in before the king, he bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.
24And Nathan said, My lord, O king, have you said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?
32And King David said, Call Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada to me. And they came before the king.
11Therefore Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith reigns, and David our lord does not know it?
12Now therefore come, let me, I pray you, give you advice, that you may save your own life, and the life of your son Solomon.
8And David said to God, I have sinned greatly because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech you, remove the iniquity of your servant; for I have acted very foolishly.
9And the LORD spoke to Gad, David's seer, saying,
10And David's heart struck him after he had numbered the people. And David said to the LORD, I have sinned greatly in what I have done: and now, I beg You, O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant; for I have done very foolishly.
11For when David arose in the morning, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying,

28Then King David answered and said, Call Bathsheba to me. And she came into the king's presence and stood before the king.
