4 Go and tell David my servant, Thus says the LORD, You shall not build me a house to live in:

12 But go now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

7 Then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, forever and ever.
8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house and the place where Your honor dwells.
5 And behold, I plan to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build a house for my name.
12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night and said to him, I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.
7 Neither shall you build houses, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyards, nor have any: but all your days you shall dwell in tents; that you may live many days in the land where you are strangers.
