12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,
13 At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.

11 And since I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.
6 And trembling and astonished, he said, Lord, what do you want me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.
7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.
8 And Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one: but they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias; and to him the Lord said in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he is praying,
12 And has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem:
14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.
15 But the Lord said to him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake.
17 And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him, said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you.
21 But all who heard him were amazed, and said, Isn't this he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?
13 Came to me, and stood, and said to me, Brother Saul, receive your sight. And at that very moment, I looked up at him.
14 And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen you, that you should know his will and see that Righteous One, and should hear the voice of his mouth.

6 As soon as he said to them, I am he, they drew back and fell to the ground.
7 Then he asked them again, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.
8 And he said to me, Who are you? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
57 And it happened, as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to him, Lord, I will follow you wherever you go.
