12How can I alone bear your problems, your burdens, and your complaints?
13Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men among your tribes, and I will make them leaders over you.
14And you answered me and said, The thing which you have spoken is good for us to do.
15So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and known men, and made them leaders over you, captains over thousands, captains over hundreds, captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
16When they have a dispute, they come to me, and I judge between one and another, and make them know the statutes of God and His laws.
8If a matter arises that is too hard for you to judge, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of dispute within your gates, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the LORD your God chooses,
9and you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge who is in office in those days, and inquire, and they shall declare to you the verdict of the judgment.
10You shall do according to the decision they give you at the place which the LORD chooses, and you shall be careful to do according to all that they instruct you.
11According to the sentence of the law which they teach you, and according to the judgment which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside from the sentence they show you, to the right hand or to the left.
19Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you. Be for the people a representative to God, that you may bring the causes to God.
20And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.
21Moreover, you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place them over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
22And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge themselves; so it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you.
15You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.
1If there is a dispute between men, and they come to judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
26And they judged the people at all times; the hard cases they brought to Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
17Then both men in the controversy shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who serve in that time;

1Now these are the judgments you shall set before them.
1And I said, Hear, I pray you, O leaders of Jacob, and you rulers of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know justice?

35You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measuring yard, in weight, or in measure.
10You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God: your leaders of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
2He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.
18And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to your fathers,
24Judge not according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.
