Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misbehave themselves, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this.

16For I said, 'Hear me, lest otherwise they rejoice over me; when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.'
34Let Him take His rod away from me, and let not His fear terrify me:
35Then I would speak and not fear Him; but it is not so with me.
11LORD, when Your hand is lifted up, they will not see; but they will see and be ashamed for their envy of the people; yes, the fire of Your enemies shall devour them.
