4Without me, they shall bow down among the prisoners, and they shall fall among the slain. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
7All who hate me whisper together against me; they devise my harm against me.
15But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together; yes, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they tore me, and did not cease:
14I would soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.
16Their quiver is like an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.
7Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.
10They gape upon me with their mouth; they strike me on the cheek reproachfully; they gather themselves together against me.
12Thus says the LORD: Though they be at peace and likewise many, yet they shall be cut down when he passes through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.
15And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the upraised arm is broken.
6For they prepare their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns like a flaming fire.
14The wicked have drawn the sword and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay those who are of upright conduct.
9That strengthens the plundered against the strong, so that the plundered shall come against the fortress.
6And the sword shall remain on his cities, and shall destroy his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
7When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke, and tore all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon you, you broke, and made all their loins to be at a stand.
27Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should misbehave themselves, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD has not done all this.
4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
21Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, behold, it will not be bound up to be healed, to wrap with a bandage, to become strong to hold the sword.
22Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong and the broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
11Therefore thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.
4They have set up kings, but not by me; they have made princes, and I did not acknowledge it. From their silver and their gold, they have made idols for themselves, that they may be cut off.
20For they speak not peace; but they devise deceitful matters against those who are quiet in the land.
3I also taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by their arms; but they did not know that I healed them.
7But like men they have transgressed the covenant: there they have dealt treacherously against me.
7Yet he does not mean so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off not a few nations.
5For they have conspired together with one accord: they are allied against you:
14The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are woven together, and come upon my neck: he has made my strength to fall, the Lord has delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
10It is my desire that I should discipline them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they bind themselves in their two furrows.
