3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me: for now, O Ephraim, you commit whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger is turned away from him.
15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet they imagine mischief against me.
18 And the LORD has given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then you showed me their doings.

6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, for I have mercy on them, and they shall be as though I had not cast them off. For I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
11 That the house of Israel may no longer go astray from me, nor be polluted anymore with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord GOD.
17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD your God who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.

11 For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me, says the LORD; that they might be to me a people, and a name, and a praise, and a glory: but they would not hear.
13 Oh, that my people would have listened to me, and Israel had walked in my ways!
7 So I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. I took to myself two staffs: one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bonds; and I fed the flock.
10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.
