5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up into the mountain;) saying,
11 And you came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.
12 And the LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of the words, but saw no form; only you heard a voice.
36 Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and upon earth he showed you his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.
18 And all the people saw the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.
19 Then they said to Moses, 'You speak with us and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.’

17 And the LORD said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
12 And the children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.
13 Whoever comes near the tabernacle of the LORD must die: will we all be consumed with dying?
15 Take therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no form on the day that the LORD spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
19 And the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

22 And the LORD said to Moses, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: You have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
38 This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; who received the living oracles to give to us:
31 When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,
17 And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
28 Say to them, As truly as I live, says the LORD, as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you:

8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses brought back the words of the people to the LORD.
24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is to this day.
3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD has said, we will do.
11 And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.
7 For what nation is there so great, who has God so near to them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
16 (For you know how we lived in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which you passed by;
14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long and grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:
25 See that you do not refuse him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from him who speaks from heaven:
7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud, so that all the people in the camp trembled.
