12For man also does not know his time: as the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in a snare, so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.
13This wisdom I have seen also under the sun, and it seemed great to me:

13Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
9The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
9Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes — but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.
10Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh, for childhood and youth are vanity.
9And at any moment I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
1For all this I considered in my heart, even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God. No one knows either love or hatred by all that is before them.
