Therefore, it is not profitable for the king to tolerate them."

    9If it pleases the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who have charge of the business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.

  • 5Then the king said, Make Haman hurry, so that he may do as Esther has said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

  • 8And the drinking was according to the law; no one was compelled, for the king had appointed to all the officials of his house that they should do according to each man's pleasure.
