  • 36And they delivered the king's decrees to the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side of the river; and they supported the people and the house of God.

  • 5Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire: it is a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

  • 6Let Your ear now be attentive, and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant, which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against You: both I and my father's house have sinned.

  • 15Then these men assembled to the king, and said to the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed.

  • 27Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
