20But you have not so learned Christ,
13Till we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
14That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive;
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ:
26For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
8Therefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to command you to do what is fitting,
3And I wrote this to you so that when I come, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to bring me joy; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
4For out of much trouble and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not that you should be grieved, but that you might know the love I have more abundantly toward you.
7But we were gentle among you, just as a nurse cherishes her children:
12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
10I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains:
10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last your care for me has flourished again; in which you were also caring, but you lacked opportunity.
22For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
13Now in return for the same (I speak as to my children), you also be enlarged.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established;
20Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be infants, but in understanding be mature.
16Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, nor labored in vain.

18What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.
