4Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation.

12But I want you to know, brethren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel;

28I sent him therefore the more eagerly, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and I may be less sorrowful.
11You see how large a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
16And when this letter is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that you likewise read the letter from Laodicea.
19For I know that this will turn out for my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
5For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know about your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain.
23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you;
