9So God has taken away the cattle of your father and given them to me.
14And Laban said to him, Surely you are my bone and my flesh. And he stayed with him for a month.
15And Laban said to Jacob, Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?
41Thus have I been twenty years in your house; I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your cattle: and you have changed my wages ten times.
42Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely you would have sent me away now empty. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.
43And Laban answered and said to Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these children are my children, and these cattle are my cattle, and all that you see is mine: and what can I do this day to these my daughters, or to their children whom they have borne?
37Whereas you have searched all my goods, what have you found of all your household goods? set it here before my brethren and your brethren, that they may judge between us both.
38These twenty years have I been with you; your ewes and your she goats have not miscarried, and the rams of your flock have I not eaten.
8And he said, What do you mean by all this company which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
4And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall you speak to my lord Esau; Your servant Jacob says this, I have lived with Laban, and stayed there until now:
5And I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, and male and female servants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find favor in your sight.
13And he said to him, My lord knows that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me; and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
34So he said, "I am Abraham's servant.
35The LORD has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.
12And he said, Lift up now your eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle are streaked, speckled, and spotted: for I have seen all that Laban does to you.
37And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brothers have I given to him for servants; and with grain and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now for you, my son?
32For your servant became a guarantee for the lad to my father, saying, If I do not bring him back to you, then I shall bear the blame to my father forever.
33Now therefore, I pray you, let your servant stay instead of the lad as a slave to my lord; and let the lad go up with his brothers.
5And he said to them, Do you know Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him.
6And he said to them, Is he well? And they said, He is well; and behold, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep.
9And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said to me, Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will deal well with you:
27And he said, "Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren."
20And say moreover, Behold, your servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goes before me, and afterward I will see his face; perhaps he will accept me.
49Now if you will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, that I may turn to the right hand or to the left."
33"So my righteousness shall answer for me in time to come, when it comes for my wages before your face. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and brown among the sheep shall be counted stolen with me."
34Laban said, "Behold, I would it might be according to your word."
29It is in my power to do you harm: but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, Beware that you speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
30And now, though you would certainly be gone, because you greatly longed for your father's house, yet why have you stolen my gods?
18Then you shall say, They are your servant Jacob's; it is a present sent to my lord Esau: and behold, he is also behind us.
19And Laban said, It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man; stay with me.
