10But the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

8Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share in the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
10But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
11Persecutions, afflictions, which came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured. But out of them all the Lord delivered me.
