24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
32 But call to remembrance the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings,
33 Partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated.
34 For you had compassion on me in my chains and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.
21 Who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,
9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you sorrowed to repentance: for you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer damage by us in nothing.
7 Therefore, brothers, we were comforted concerning you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner, what diligence it produced in you, yes, what clearing of yourselves, yes, what indignation, yes, what fear, yes, what vehement desire, yes, what zeal, yes, what vindication! In all things you have proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
9 But, beloved, we are convinced of better things concerning you, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.
11 Behold, we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate and full of mercy.

11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?
14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found by him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
