18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.

7 And not by his coming only, but by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced even more.

12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13 Therefore I ask that you not faint at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
