7So that you became examples to all who believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
12For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
13For we write no other things to you than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you shall acknowledge even to the end;
14As also you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, just as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
19For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?
20For you are our glory and joy.
1Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,

29For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
30Having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear to be in me.
3Remembering constantly your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the presence of God our Father;

33Partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated.

16I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.
13Therefore I ask that you not faint at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

3And I wrote this to you so that when I come, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to bring me joy; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
4And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command you.
