25But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
8Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
11Now therefore complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire, so there may be a completion out of what you have.
1Let us therefore fear, lest, while a promise of entering into his rest remains, any of you should seem to have come short of it.
13Till we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
1Therefore we ought to give more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
12Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
7And our hope for you is steadfast, knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.
