8The Lord has purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: He has stretched out a line, He has not withdrawn His hand from destroying: therefore He made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

10Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
7Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
21And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
12To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn your hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.
