Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and strike the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt shall depart.
17 The LORD shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon your father's house, days that have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall call for the fly that is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
12 In that day also he shall come to you from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
2 That sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of papyrus upon the waters, saying, Go, you swift messengers, to a nation scattered and polished, to a people feared from their beginning until now; a nation divided and trampled, whose land the rivers have ravaged!
8 Will not the land tremble for this, and all who dwell in it mourn? It shall rise up wholly like a flood; it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
5 The Lord GOD of hosts, he who touches the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn; and it shall rise up wholly like a flood, and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
2 Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
4 So many people gathered together and stopped all the fountains and the brook that ran through the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water?

18 Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their countries,
15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; with his mighty wind he shall shake his hand over the River, and shall strike it in the seven streams, and make men cross over dry-shod.
16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, who are left, from Assyria, as it was for Israel in the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
2 Thus says the LORD: Behold, waters rise up out of the north and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land and all that is in it; the city, and those who dwell in it: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall wail.
21 But there the glorious LORD will be a place of broad rivers and streams; in which no rowing vessel will go, nor will any majestic ships pass by.
5 The waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
6 They shall turn the rivers away; the brooks of defense shall be emptied and dried up; the reeds and rushes shall wither.
7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and everything sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
12 Therefore, it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by utterly destroying them; and shall you be delivered?
12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river to the stream of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one by one, O children of Israel.
33 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor build a siege ramp against it.
8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.
7 At that time shall the present be brought to the LORD of hosts from a people scattered and polished, and from a people feared from their beginning until now; a nation divided and trampled under foot, whose land the rivers have ravaged, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, Mount Zion.
17 The king of Assyria sent Tartan, Rabsaris, and Rabshakeh from Lachish to King Hezekiah with a great army against Jerusalem. They went up and came to Jerusalem, and when they had gone up, they stood by the aqueduct of the upper pool, which is on the highway to the fuller's field.
11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by utterly destroying them: and shall you be delivered?
7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have stored up, they shall carry away to the brook of the willows.
26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him underfoot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
27 Who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers:
32 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a siege mound against it.
7 For the LORD your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
7 Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude with him, for there are more with us than with him:
13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
17 Truly, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,
3 Then the LORD said to Isaiah, Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the fuller's field;
31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, who struck with a rod.
28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the middle of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
8 Then he said to me, These waters flow toward the eastern region, and go into the desert, and go into the sea: which when flowing into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
7 Behold, I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
14 They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.
