20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
7 But when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathens do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows what things you need before you ask Him.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.
36 To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord does not approve.
9 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.
31 Let not him who is deceived trust in vanity, for emptiness shall be his recompense.
12 But above all things, my brethren, do not swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: but let your 'yes' be 'yes,' and your 'no,' 'no'; lest you fall into condemnation.
10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
7 So that you come short in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Be careful not to do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them; otherwise, you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
29 And do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, nor be of anxious mind.
10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
11 Let us therefore labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.
26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is useless.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
