12That you may walk honestly toward those who are outside, and that you may have lack of nothing.
7Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded?
8No, you do wrong and defraud, and that your brethren.

9But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

8Now you are full, now you are rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed, I wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you!
29And do not seek what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, nor be of anxious mind.
30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that you need these things.
31But rather seek the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added to you.
26Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
4Wherein they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
25The desire of the slothful kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.
2And you are arrogant, and have not rather mourned, so that he who has done this deed might be removed from among you.
