4Wherein they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?
9But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that you need these things.
31But rather seek the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added to you.
18And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their desire.
30They were not estranged from their desire. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,
19Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,
4are you not then partial among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
7If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.
30Give to everyone who asks of you; and from him who takes away your goods, do not ask them back.
12Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey its lusts.

6Let no one deceive you with empty words: for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
