12Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on them:
5Do not trust in a friend, put no confidence in a guide: keep the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom.
12I will declare your righteousness and your works; for they shall not profit you.

11The leaders judge for reward, and the priests teach for hire, and the prophets divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.
6I have hated those that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

2And though they say, The LORD lives; surely they swear falsely.
13You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped iniquity; you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men.
14Therefore do not listen to the words of the prophets that speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie to you.

21And do not turn aside: for then you should go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
12For the rich men there are full of violence, the inhabitants have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
7Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.
17And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, says the LORD.

13Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
10Then I said: Ah, Lord GOD! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the soul.
8You have despised My holy things, and have profaned My sabbaths.
