6 Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says the LORD.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah to Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
3 And they bend their tongues like a bow for lies; but they are not valiant for the truth on the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, says the LORD.
6 They have seen falsehood and lying divination, saying, 'The LORD says'; but the LORD has not sent them. And they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
7 Have you not seen a vain vision, and have you not spoken a lying divination, when you say, 'The LORD says it,' although I have not spoken?
8 Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD: Because you have spoken vanity and seen lies, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD.
12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on them:
5 Do not trust in a friend, put no confidence in a guide: keep the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your bosom.

8 How do you say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Behold, certainly in vain he made it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
11 The leaders judge for reward, and the priests teach for hire, and the prophets divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? No harm can come upon us.
6 I have hated those that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
2 And though they say, The LORD lives; surely they swear falsely.
13 You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped iniquity; you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men.
14 Therefore do not listen to the words of the prophets that speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie to you.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

21 And do not turn aside: for then you should go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
12 For the rich men there are full of violence, the inhabitants have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
7 Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.
17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, says the LORD.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

8 The priests did not say, Where is the LORD? and those who handle the law did not know me: the shepherds also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
10 Then I said: Ah, Lord GOD! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the soul.
8 You have despised My holy things, and have profaned My sabbaths.
