4Is it time for you, yourselves, to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies in ruins?
5Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways.
6You have sown much, and bring in little; you eat, but do not have enough; you drink, but are not filled; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes.
3Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will allow you to dwell in this place.
4Do not trust in deceptive words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.
5For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your deeds; if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor;
8Go up to the mountains, bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the LORD.
9You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? says the LORD of hosts. Because of My house that is in ruins, while each of you runs to his own house.
3Therefore say to them, Thus says the LORD of hosts: Turn to Me, says the LORD of hosts, and I will turn to you, says the LORD of hosts.
4Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts: Turn now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds. But they did not hear nor listen to Me, says the LORD.
7Even from the days of your fathers you have gone away from my ordinances and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts. But you said, 'In what way shall we return?'.
9And now, I pray you, plead with God that he will be gracious to us: this has been by your means: will he regard you? says the LORD of hosts.
4Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
13Therefore now amend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will relent of the evil that he has pronounced against you.
17I struck you with blight and mildew and hail in all the labors of your hands; yet you did not turn to Me, says the LORD.
18Consider now, from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it.
15And now, I pray you, consider from this day onward, before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
7Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.
8Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts; Because you have not heard My words,
16Thus says the LORD, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.
13Your words have been harsh against me, says the LORD. Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against you?'.
14You have said, 'It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?'.
18And the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
11Now therefore go, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a plan against you: return now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
13You said also, Behold, what a weariness it is! and you have sneered at it, says the LORD of hosts; and you brought what was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus you brought an offering: should I accept this from your hand? says the LORD.
13Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words? says the LORD.
6But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? Then they returned and said: Just as the LORD of hosts determined to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has dealt with us.
6Then the LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
9Thus says the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
5Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:
8Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
7You offer defiled bread upon my altar; and you say, How have we polluted you? In that you say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.
3For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your unplowed ground, and sow not among thorns.
1And now, O you priests, this commandment is for you.
14For thus says the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked Me to wrath, says the LORD of hosts, and I did not relent:
40Let us search and examine our ways and turn back to the LORD.

19Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.
17Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
6Thus says the LORD of hosts; If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvelous in My eyes? says the LORD of hosts.
9And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
