15Hear, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD has spoken.
13Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley and rock of the plain, says the LORD; who say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our dwellings?
9And now, I pray you, plead with God that he will be gracious to us: this has been by your means: will he regard you? says the LORD of hosts.

23Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? and against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
11For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
12They have denied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:
5Thus says the LORD, What wrong have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have followed idols, and have become idolaters?
3Will vain words ever end? Or what makes you bold enough to answer?
13That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?
3O my people, what have I done to you? And how have I wearied you? Testify against Me.
15What do you mean by crushing My people, and grinding the faces of the poor? says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
20Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.
9Therefore, I have also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as you have not kept my ways but have been partial in the law.

13And now, because you have done all these works, says the LORD, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not listen; and I called you, but you did not answer;
8For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen, because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
